Picture Day Tips:
YES: Patterns OR solids. Classic, simple styles. Comfortable materials that don’t scratch or squeeze and FIT well. Simple accessories. Layers and textures.
NO: Words, phrases, characters, or logos (these get “lost” easily in most poses). Trendy styles that come and go.
FOR GRADS: No bulky clothing that will make "lumps" under the gown. No big hair styles or bows that will prevent the cap from getting on their heads.
SHOES: Keep in mind that shoes WILL be showing in many poses. Try to coordinate your child’s shoes with their outfit, if possible.
SIBLINGS: Coordinate siblings with similar colors and styles—they do not need to match.
BABIES WHO CANNOT SIT-UP: We have a posing bucket for babies who cannot sit-up on their own. We do have blankets to "cushion" our posing bucket, HOWEVER, in the interest of extra caution and safety, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you bring your own blanket (in a solid neutral color or that coordinates with their outfit) from home for your individual session, so there is no sharing.
These sessions are for CHILDREN only. No family poses with adults or teens (they just won't fit in this set-up). No pets (this will hinder our ability to keep things clean and safe for every child).
In order to keep crowding to a minimum and keep safety standards up, please: ONLY ONE PARENT/GUARDIAN per family with the child/children who will be included in photos and NO ADDITIONAL PEOPLE should be in the studio.
